Adatto Inc. was established as the successor to a sole-proprietorship editorial services firm founded in Halifax in 1999 by owner-consultant Cliff Esler. Many of the projects for companies shown on our Clients page were completed under the precursor aegis.

Cliff's credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Holy Cross, and extensive experience working with Microsoft Word and Adobe FrameMaker and PDF documents in the industrial and IT sectors. He is a current member of the Society for Technical Communication (STC) and the Editors' Association of Canada (EAC). He is also a past member of the Society of Internet Professionals (SIP), and has built websites for a number of individuals and organizations.

Adatto also has access to a preferred group of freelance associates specializing in graphic design, multimedia, and Web application programming, as well as to independent subject matter experts in several fields.
